How to self-learn the Muay Thai at home?

Learning with yourself is necessary to acknowledge your inner lacunas and thereby further working out on them to further improvise. This article will tell you on how anyone can train himself Muay Thai basics before joining any camp.

Get started:
It’s time to stretch your arms and legs to a full extent. For that, one must do the followings in a sequence;
– Mobility and stretching of the body parts continuously for 10 minutes
– Two rounds of jumping rope for 6 minutes
– 9 minutes of Shadow boxing in a total of 3 rounds
Just use the maximum energy level of your sound health through this entire session of warm-up. While Shadow boxing, you should feel the real one in front of you and thereby adjusting your footwork, the defence as well as strikes.
Shadow boxing should enhance your quick attacking skills. You should take a spilt of the second pause to attack your opponent. For this whole period, you should be on your knees thereby focusing on your footwork, but you should initiate the strike with your lower body.
Alternate left and right kicks:
The ideal one is to start with 50 push kicks. As you know, stopping your opponent’s attack with a push kick favours a lot, it is better to practice the same at home, as most beginners in Thailand do. Stop the swinging bag with your push kick but don’t just wait for the bag to arrive. Instead, move along with its swing and use your footwork to develop the reaction time.
The 2nd phase should be 50 rounds of kick with a single leg. Switch to another leg only after completing 50 roundhouse kicks with one leg. Your focus area should be legs, head and body.
It is necessary not to take the training sessions casually, otherwise, the whole propose of self-training will go into the vain.
